Meet Rev. Onna Brown: Crafting ceremonies with heart and soul
Your love doesn’t have to fit a mold—your ceremony shouldn’t either. Discover the passion and purpose behind Love, Life & Legacy Ceremonies by Rev. Onna, where every story is celebrated.

My journey to celebrating your unique story
I felt called to this work through a deep love for people and the moments that shape our lives. From joyful beginnings to tender goodbyes, I’ve always been drawn to the spaces where meaning is made—where love is spoken, honored, and remembered. Growing up, I was given the freedom to explore my own spiritual path, and that shaped who I am today. I came to understand that there is beauty in many beliefs, many traditions, and many ways of loving. But I also saw that not everyone is always welcomed or affirmed in those sacred moments—and that never sat right with me.

Your story, beautifully told: My unique approach
What makes my approach different is that I don’t believe ceremonies should ever feel generic or one-size-fits-all. I take the time to truly listen—your story, your beliefs, your traditions, your people—and I build the ceremony around you, not a template. I also hold space for the full spectrum of life. That means I am just as present in moments of deep joy and celebration as I am in moments of grief and goodbye. I believe both deserve the same level of care, dignity, and intention.

Compassion, respect, and authenticity: My core values
The most important values in my work are compassion, respect, and authenticity. I believe every couple and every family deserves to feel seen, heard, and honored exactly as they are—without judgment and without having to fit into someone else’s idea of what a ceremony “should” be. Inclusivity is at the heart of everything I do. I welcome all love stories, including LGBTQ+ couples, interfaith relationships, and people from all spiritual paths—or no spiritual path at all.
"I’ve witnessed the harm of “one-size-fits-all” thinking—where people are told they must conform to a single expression of faith, identity, or love in order to be welcomed. That has never sat right with me."
